Meet the Founders

In 2022 Duriel and Sophia Crittenden birthed The United Hands™ Project to connect those needing services at no cost. They saw the need for additional mental health services for teens and young adults in the area. Duriel and Sophia sought to connect with community partners to unite in the fight to help others on their mental wholeness journey by combining a unique approach to educating those on the importance of the connection between the brain and the body. Duriel & Sophia Crittenden seek to combine their passion for serving and supporting individuals to elevate their five pillars of mental health wholeness. Applying their backgrounds in leadership and counseling, Duriel and Sophia strive to invest in others as individuals discover how their minds and bodies are connected.

The United Hands™ Project Purpose

Our Purpose is to provide free mental health services, life enrichment skills, education enhancement, workplace preparedness, and linkage and referrals to needed services.
